This is a beautiful c1860s 19th century French Aubusson hand woven tapesty panel worked in delicate fine wool.
The design is beautiful roses and flowers in a rococo style, it was once a chair seat panel.
It measures about 24\" by 23\" or 61 cms by 58.5 cms. An elegant piece for a project, framing or reference.
The condition is quite good with wear commensurate with age and use: faded, some marks and a small split across the middle, see photos, it could be restored if desired.. Thank you for looking.
