Up for sale with is afabulousVictorian Period Tipping Tea Kettle on it's original Warming Stand. The Kettle is a most beautiful example with incredible Repousse Flower designs throughout, a fabulous Figural Eagle on the lid, a Bird's Face forming the Spout and a Man's Face design to the base of the Spout. It has been a long time since I have sold a Silver Plate Tipping Tea Kettle of this quality ! The Kettle is also agreat size for modern use or display standing approx 13" tall on the stand, 9" tall off the stand by 8-1/4" long and holding5 cups. The Stand is just as fabulous as is complete with both Keys for holding the Kettle in the Stand. The Kettle is in excellent all original condition with minor signs of use and age but no bad wear and certainly no dents, cracks or repairs. The Kettle is nicely monogrammed with a fancy "S" The Kettle is also marked Made in Sheffield England for Z. Auerbach & Co., which I am told was a very high end retailer, on scale with Tiffany & Co. We are also listing the matching Tea or Coffee Service in another of our sales, we decided to split the set becausewe thought many people may only want the service or the Kettle but not both, though I would be happy to combine shipping if someone does win both sales.
