Here today for your consideration is a beautiful vintage 20 inch 1957 Queen Cissy doll with an infused face and side part wig made by Madame Alexander in wonderful HTF condition. Cissy\'s gorgeous face paint is all original with no enhancements or make overs. Her darling up do styled ash blonde wig has a side part with lots of curls in the back. The small ponytail sides of the wig that are tied with string have been replaced with new string. There is the original spanner bar that will be included but it was not totally affixed to the wig so I took it off. She has very nice stroked eyebrows, painted lower eyelashes, full set of hair eyelashes, beautiful crystal clear blue open and close eyes, nicely blushed cheeks, and sweet tiny red painted lips. She has a very tiny pen size mark on her right cheek, I don\'t think you can really see it and it may be able to be removed, but I wanted to mention it. I have not cleaned Cissy so she may have some dust or light dirt from over the years. Cissy has blush on the back of her hands but not on her knees. I don\'t see any joint splits or cracks, in any of the usual places, (hips, knees, legs or crotch) or chews, or missing vinyl on her arms. Her knees bend great with no problems. She may have a little issue with her legs, sometimes one leg wants to move forward a bit, but she can still hold a pose and stand on her own. Her head is a little wobbly as with many Cissy dolls from that era. Cissy\'s tagged crisp and clean gown is stunning with no issues that I can see, no holes, no tears, no marks, and no fading. It does not appear to have ever been washed. Its made of a beautiful golden heavy brocade fabric lined in a light golden taffeta, closing in the back with 4 original intact square snaps. The blue moire sash has some dust present but still in great condition with all original embellishments. Under the gown she wears the original crisp ivory taffeta half slip with a single row of a short ruffle and another longer ruffle that is only in the back portion to support the graduated length of the gown in the back with a great elastic waist. There is only one issue with the slip, it has a small brownish mark on the underside of a ruffle, but it does not go all the way thru the fabric, so you can not see it unless you look on the underside of the ruffle. She will come wearing her original ivory taffeta panties with great elastic waist and val lace leg openings, her seamed nylons with a small hole in each heel area, her original faux diamond earrings, the off white fingerless gloves, 2 original bracelets with white rhinestones, (1 gold tone and 1 silver), and her gold elastic strap high heels, they are vintage but have been repaired so the straps will not tear. Gorgeous Cissy and her beautiful outfit are not mint but they are in excellent condition and display beautifully. Thanks for taking a look and God Bless.
