Here today is a beautiful 18 inch hard plastic Margaret doll made by Madame Alexander in the late 1940\'s or early 50\'s. Margaret is a walker doll, that might possibly narrow the time frame as to when she was made. Margaret\'s walker device works as it should but her strung arms are a little loose. She has a stunningly gorgeous all original face, nice rosy cheek, painted eyebrows and lower eyelashes, full set of hair eyelashes, crystal clear open and close blue eyes, and tiny red painted lips. I have not cleaned her so she may have some dust or light dirt but no unwanted marks. Her ash blonde wig is in very nice uncombed condition in its original set that includes 2 little brass barrettes on either side of her head. She does have some fly aways and maybe could use a light refreshing. Her adorable pink dress is not original but it is tagged to be made by Kay Meade. It fits her very nice and looks absolutely adorable but uncertain if it was made for her or not. There is one very tiny pin sized dot on the front, maybe it can cleaned. It doesn\'t appear to have ever been washed. Under the dress she wears a full pink cotton slip with attached panties with lace trim. I do believe her center snap off white shoes are original but in poor condition. The snaps and straps are great but the satin fabric they are made of is starting to deteriorate. The darling robe and nighty ensemble are untagged but fit her to a tee with little pink felt slippers. Im not certain but the ensemble very much looks like a Madame Alexander outfit. I don\'t see any tears or holes but their are a couple of light aging spots, you really don\'t see them unless you are searching for them. Margaret\'s off white satin bloomers are original and made by Madame Alexander. They have a a snap closure at the back waist and elastic leg openings with val lace. They are wrinkled and do have a couple of any very tiny holes in the folds. Margaret and her clothing are in wonderful condition with NO odors.
