Bernard Hills made Heddon #60 8-6, 3/2 Bamboo Fly Rod in excellent condition. Hills was in charge of the production of all top grade Heddon bamboo rods. When he left Heddon he took a number of culms and blanks that were the top of the top stock. This 8-6 rod is a classic example of his work. All sections are straight and 34 1/2\" long. Ferrule fit is excellent. Finish and reel seat are excellent. As is wooden grip, rod bag and tube. \"Dave Beheman, By B. Hills\" is written on the flats. Thread windings plus thread within golden wraps. Original bag and tube with Heddon label on it. I\'ve not fished this rod but have cast it with fine results with a 444 Peach DT5. One of a kind and beautiful.
