Large 1920\'s English standing St Bernard dog with ginger & cream mohair.
This large English St Bernard dog was possibly made by Farnell or Chiltern and dates to circa 1925
Standing at 16\" tall, he is 19\" long from his nose to the base of his tail with his tail adding an extra 8\".
He has been loved and has had a few small repairs but he has most of his original features intact including
his clear glass eyes, black cotton thread nose and mouth which are faded with a few broken threads and
the remains of some claw stitches. There are a couple of small holes in his feet revealing the straw
stuffing but these are not leaking at all.His ginger and cream mohair is worn with some large bare patches
but he has retained about 70% coverage overall and is a very handsome and charming character dog.Please view all the photos, which can be enlarged to assess his condition
