This RARE ***EXTRA LARGE*** Black Forest Germany ***8 DAY*** \"BABY BIRDS IN NEST\"Cuckoo Clock is from the 1960\'s. This cuckoo clock is SOLID WOOD andbeautifully hand carved. CLOCKDESCRIPTION: The clock topper features alarge bird (with genuine glass eyes) perched on a limb, adorned withbeautifully hand carved maple leaves.The clock facing features two \"parent birds\" (with genuineglass eyes) on the right side and left side of the clock dial dutifullywatching over the nest of two baby birds (with genuine glass eyes). Large maple leaves also adorn the clockfacing. There are two doors above the clock dial. The cuckoo bird pops out of the right door and \"calls\" the full hour and the half hour. On the full hour, the left door opens, and a little boy with a xylaphone comes out as a melody plays. The solid brass movement is a Regula.This cuckoo clock HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED WITH NEW BELLOWS, and isin EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT\'S AGE, and KEEPS PERFECT TIME. This cuckoo clockis ALL WOOD, and has beautifully detailed HAND CARVING. Theclock comes with it\'s original beautifully HAND CARVED large MAPLE LEAFpendulum and three 1500 pine cone shaped cast iron weights suspended on brass chainsand wire hooks. This cuckoo clock measures 28 inches tall, 20 inches wide, and10 1/2 inches deep.

I clean, oil, and adjust all of my cuckoo clocks before placing insales. What does cleaning this clock mean:The clock hands are removed fromthe front of the clock, and the cuckoo bird is detached from the door. The backdoor is opened. The bellows, movement, and chains are removed from the clockcase. The movement is thoroughly cleaned. It is then lubricated in the properplaces and hung on a stand with attached weights to restore function. Ifnecessary, the bellow tops are custom covered to maintain the original cuckoocall. The cuckoo bird is hand cleaned to maintain the original finish. Theclock hands are cleaned. The inside of the clock case is brushed clean. Theoutside of the clock case is rubbed with lemon oil. Then all the parts arereplaced back into the clock. The clock is then hung on the wall to make sureit is in working condition, and adjusted for accurate time.I do my best torestore all of my clocks to working condition while maintaining the originalbeauty of the clock. All clocks are described as accurately and honestly aspossible. My clocks are always in working condition when sold. Please keep inmind that my clocks are not new. These time pieces have signs of age that makethem distinctive and pretty, a beauty that only time can give.
