Description: Up for sale is an original Confederate State M-1860 saber & scabbard made in 1862 by the famous Southern Arms Maker, Boyle & Gamble of Richmond, Virginia. If you look very closely, there are still traces of original rococo carvings on each side of the blade. These Boyle & Gamble sword with the maker mark are much tougher to find than their unmarked counterparts.
Condition: This Original and very rare M-1860 Boyle & Gamble Confederate State saber and scabbard are both in \"Good\" to \"Very Good\" condition, considering the normal honest wear and over 150 years old. There are no major damages, losses or wornmaterials. 30% of the steel scabbard is covered with pin prick surface stain erosion.
