April is a show stopper with her all original paint, wig, shoes, slip and dress. She is nearly mint and the dress is in good vintage shape from the Kindergarten Kiddies series of 1951. April has an AURA of romantic innoncence, fine attention to detail from the past that you see in that era of Vogue dolls. I\'m amazed at how the years and patina make her more precious. We are so excited to list this doll. She is in near mint condition and all original. She has that wonderful soft dreamy Transitional coloring with very dark brown/blue iris rings. So real looking. The doll is more pristine than the dress which shows a bit of fade. Panties have loose elastic but they stay up, came with dress & appears to be original to it. Shoes are in good condition, I don\'t see repairs and they have the early smooth soles appropiate for \"51. Slip is also Original Vogue and in decent shape. Socks look nice. This doll has not had ANY restoration, look at her carefully so you can see. April is on page 94 of the Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls, purple edition and on page 33 (better picture) of the Roberts and Bunker \"Ginny Doll Encyclopedia\" with the blue cover. Please ask questions.
