c 1840-1860 CHAPOO FLOW BLUE 16" IRONSTONE PLATTER - John Wedge Wood Wedgwood
Price: US $202.50
Antique Chapoo 16" Flow Blue Ironstone PlatterThis platter was made by John Wedge Wood or Wedgwood, not sure how it is spelled. I have seen it both ways in the same book. The platter measures 16" by 12 1/4" wide. It is in very nice condition with just a thin small area on the very rim edge where there is glaze loss (see 2nd to last picture). It is at one of the corners and is about 3 1/2" long. You can feel it just a little bit. Other than that the platter is nice & clean with no chips, flakes, cracks, ageline cracks, scratches or discolor. It weighs about 4 1/4 pounds. This was made sometime between 1840 and 1860 in check the other shipping options available to find the best one for you! sales & SALES" ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES INTERNATIONAL buyers * If you choose 1st class shipping, there is no insuranceavailable.
