Beautiful and very rare, ca1898 Sterling Silver, Spanish American War / Rough Rider / Army Soldier, Figural Handle Souvenir Spoon with a wonderful, double sided figure of a Span-Am War Soldier carrying a carbine rifle!!

This outstanding and very heavy, Souvenir Spoon measures approx. 5 1/4\" long and features a handle with the figure of a Spanish American War era Soldier - a Rough Rider in full uniform holding his carbine rifle and standing atop a Federal Shield with a banner that has text that reads \"E Pluribus Unum\". The Spoon is marked Sterling and carries the hallmark of the manufacturer - The Watson Manufacturing Co. of Attleboro, Massachusetts.

This beautiful, Spanish American War motif, Figural Handle Souvenir Spoon is in excellent condition - crisp and beautiful with no damage of any kind. This Spoon came to us with a small but wonderful collection of figural handle Souvenir Spoons which we will be offering over the next few weeks on . The Souvenir Spoons are being offered in \"as found\" condition - some with surface tarnish and many with warm and beautiful age patina (this Spoon will certainly shine up beautifully if the buyer wishes to do so).
