The handled bowl with cover measures 6 inches or 15.2 cm high, and is 7 inches or 17.7 cm wide from handle to handle. The under plate is 9 inches or 22.8 cm in diameter.
The pieces have a white ground and are all hand painted. The under tray has a scalloped edge and raised lip at the center. The porcelain is raised and shows figures of swans and storks in a wetland setting with cattails and green foliage around them. The bowl and cover are similarly decorated and all the pieces have heavy applied gold highlights on the edges. The cover has a yellow chick emerging from an egg as the finial. The pieces are marked with a gold shield and crown mark.
The condition overall is good; there is a small spider web hairline in the bottom of the under plate, and a couple minor chips on the finial. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description.
