Year: c.1936 Description:Outstandingexample of Hubley\'s scarce 9¾\" long cast iron \"Indian Crash Car PoiceMotorcycle\" complete with original hose reel with hose and two woodencontainers. Fabulous 3-wheel vehicle with nickel plated cast ironspoke wheels and swivel head cop. Approximately 95%+ of its original paint remaining without any rust.Early two cylinder vehicle; half motorcycle (olive green) and halfemergency cart (red). The cop was integrated into the motorcycle. He was paintedwith pink hands and face, and a black cap with gold emblem above the visor.His swivel head was separately bolted to the body. The \"Indian\" logo onthe gas tank is painted with gold raised lettering. The front headlight, engine cylinders, and “Crash Car” name were also painted gold. The rear hose reelwas painted red and still has its original braided hose. The woodencontainers, although correctly painted and worn, are most likelyreproductions. Size: 9¾\". Condition: Excellent+ without any repairs or paint touch-up.Paint is all original (verified under black light examination).Colors are bright, strong, and with a nice aged patina. Chipping and wearare present on the most exposed surfaces (outer hands, cheek, chin, legsides, headlight rim, fender edges, top rail edges of the crash car andedge of rear step). Hose reel has only scattered edge wear. Beautiful toy and difficult to find; especially when it\'s this nice!
