What this Harness & ECM will do is run a 1999 to 2006 GM Truck LS engine (4.8 5.3 or 6.0) as a Stand Alone Engine. Meaning it can be transplanted into just about anything! It takes 2 wires to make this harness work once it isinstalled on the engine! The other 2 wires that should be hooked up are the Tach wire and the \"Check Engine Light\" power wire. This harness can just control the engine or it can be crafted to control a 4L60 or 4L80 transmission (More wires will need to be hooked up for this option)if you need that option for your project.
