FINE ANTIQUE LACE, LINENS, & TEXTILES
Circa 1880, A lovely organdy and silk dress with a inner silk underdress and boned bodice with laces up the back and chintz fabric on the inside of the gown. A overlay of organdy with masses of Valencienne lace with ruched organdy and Valencienne insertions .The lower part of the gown has alternating silk ribbons.The sleeves are made of silk with alternating cream silk on the deep scalloped edge and lace and ribbons on the edges.

In mainly very good STRONG condition. .. it needs to be cleaned... The areas near armholes have damage..so it is possible to remove if desired. There are some scattered darl age spots and a few tiny pinholes in organdy.Overall.. once sleeves are dealt with item is properly cleaned.. this dress once fixed with look wonderful. All items we list need to be cleaned.
