We have for sale a Civil War sword/saber modelAMES-1860, marked 1863, and sheath. The sword is in fantastic condition for its age. The sword is marked \"US DR1863\" on one side and on the other \"AMES-MFG Chicopee Mass\". From hilt to tip the sword measures around 37.5\", and the blade is 1\" deep. Over all the sword measures 43\". The brass hilt and handle are in great shape, there is a small crack in the leather and the wire is in perfect shape. The blade is in great condition as well, with no rust and only one very small knick. The sheath is in good condition, with small spots of rust that are barely noticeable. Over all the sword is in fantastic condition for it\'s age and use. It would be perfect to add to any collection.
