I got my pristine silver plate 1978 Claude Gordon Benge out this morning with the intention to put it on . I am retiring from playing (age and health issues) and selling off a number of fine horns. Well, that displeased the Trumpet Gods, and I dropped this beautiful horn. There are now two creases in the bell. The bell is still straight and none of the braces are loose, but DARN!!! I bought this horn from a pro player I ran across in Miami, who bought it new. Not one dent, nothing, like new. I\'ve played it 5 years and loved it. Feather light with CG sizzle. I was going to listed for some big bucks, but now I just have to take the loss. If you have the patience or skill to have the bell repaired, you\'ll have a great horn at a bargain price. Includes original case in decent condition. I stopped playing a while back, so she might need some polish. To see what she looked like before today, email me and I\'ll send you a link to my Flickr page ( doesn\'t like Flickr, I guess). Free shipping. . Selling USA 48 only, Paypal only. If returned, buyer pays shipping.
