CONSOLIDATED SAFETY VALVE FROM RAILROAD STEAM LOCOMOTIVE ENGINE 1915 PATENT. Up for offer is a great piece of vintage railroad memorabilia. This is a Consolidated safety valve that came from the same collection as the Coale Safety Valve we had listed a couple of weeks ago. About 11 1/2\" tall and 6\" wide at the widest portion and appears to have a last patent date of 1915. Embossed along the bottom, \"CB-RK\" with the number, \"3\" above the Consolidated maker in New York. Serial #56650 on the bottom as well. It is in very good condition with no apparent issues to note. It is very heavy, so shipping is a little higher on this one. A great piece for the railroad hardware collector or locomotive enthusiast!
