This cork replaces the original cork that came with the 1940\'s - 1950\'s Stanley N943 \"Super Vac\" Thermos, which some say is the finest thermos ever! The corks for the N944 and N945 are the same, and so this should work for these models as well.It performs the same function as the original cork. We have tested this cork for quite some time now on our own N943 Stanley Super Vac Thermos with both hot and cold liquid. It performed perfectly! We have sold close to 50 of these to very happy customers. Length: 1-1/2\" (1.500\" or 38The only significant difference between the two is the length. In my test, this didn’t seem to make any difference at all. My Stanley H943 performed just as expected. If you have a Thermos other than the N943, N944, OR N945, I cannot vouch for its reliability, however, if you send me your thermos model number, I will try to help you.
