This Number 8 cutter head fits Rigby Model D or H wool fabric cutting machines and cuts several strips that are 1/4\" wide. Using this item on a Rigby machine makes cutting strips an easy project.
We manufacture this item and guarantee it will work on Rigby Model D or H machines. Some really old (over about 35 years) machines may need to be modified slightly with a metal file to create a larger opening in the base plate of the machine.
The metal strip is called a cleaning finger and is meant to be slid onto the top of the base plate to keep wool moving freely across the cutter head.
