Appealing Points:
- \"Daimyo\" Registration: This sword was registered in 1951, the initial year that the current sword registration system started in Japan. Such swords, which were registered in a few years after the system started, are called \"Daimyo\" (feudal lord) registration swords as it was Daimyo or other Daimyo-like wealthy families who owned many precious swords and were asked by the Japanese government to register their swords in the early stage of the newly introduced registration system to familiarize it to the society. Accordingly, there are many precious swords in the Daimyo registration swords, and many collectors prefer them.
- The blade is signed and dated March 1575.
- Hamon temper lines are dynamic with beautiful \"Tobi-yaki\" jumping spots and very artistic.
- The blade is very well forged and has wonderful forging grains.
- The blade is well polished and is in very good condition.
- Saya scabbard has beautiful surface and eye-catching Saka-tsuno hook.
- Tsuba guard is nicely designed and signed 記内 (Kinai), a master Tsuba craftsman.
- Sword bag is made of beautiful Kimono cloth in which \"Tsuru\" fortune cranes are embroidered.

Condition:
The blade is well polished and is in very good condition with some minor flaws and scratches and light rusting spots (including one in Shinogi-ji (a corner of back ridge) in lower part), which are notfatal. Koshirae mountings are in very good conditionwith normalwears seen in items of this age. One of three Seppa washers is made of rubber to better fit Tsuba guard. Sold as-is.
