Working at the West Melbourne Gas Works CARBON hauled coal from the ships on a Narrow Gauge Railway
15 feet above the ground to the West Melbourne Gas Works.
Retiring from Gas Duties in 1934 CARBON was \"Rested\" until offered in 1946 FREE to anyone who would take it.
Mr. Bill Ferris \'Collected\' and transported CARBON to Walhalla where he and the little Black Loco entertained the public on a 90\' diameter track behind the old Bank Vault.
Then in 1963 he sold CARBON. After restoration took place CARBON was the main attraction for 8 years
at Whistle Stop Amusement Park in Frankston.
When the Amusement Park land was sold in Frankston, CARBON was again sold, moving to Puffing Billy where it remains today - a very much admired and loved Steam Locomotive.So with the Builder\'s Plate you will receive photocopies of where \"CARBON\" has worked

The railway Decauville was a flagship attractions of this World Expo . Flowing between the Champ de Mars and Invalides on a line path 60 specially established with Mallet type locomotive and towed equipment \"catalog\". This provisional line transported several million people (6,342,446 paying passengers) without a single accident. This railway was inaugurated May 4, 1889.

The stations served on the three km journey were:

  • Esplanade des Invalides
  • Concorde Station
  • Stop agriculture, near the palace of Spain
  • Food Stop, near the palace of Food Industries
  • Station Trocadero - Eiffel Tower

The line was established in rails of 9.5 kg / m and consisted of two tunnels: that of Alma (20 m) and the Eiffel Tower (106 m).

The material included several Mallet machine type 020-020 and Fairlie Pechot system also kind of 020-020 named \"1789 Centennial\".

Following this World Expo, the Ministry of Transport authorized the use of railways narrow gauge for the transport of persons without previously mandatory exemptions.

So it is unemcumbered of any Ownership or part Ownership of another party it has a Free Title and I have proof of Ownership.
