Offered here is an original, FIRST PAGE ONLY from Detective Comics #28 from June, 1939.

This page has some light paper loss on the left edge (see scans) with some minor trimming to the margin of this left edge, but the other edges are untouched and were never trimmed. Overall size is 7.5\" by 10.25\". Very supple off-white to white paper quality. Tiny \"2\" pencil marking top left margin. Two small 1/4\" tears top margin and a couple of other very tiny (1/16\" or less) tears to the top edge. Very faint, non color breaking 1\" bend near top right corner.

The very next best thing to owning a piece of Detective 27 is owning a piece of Detective 28 (and this is the best piece from the book!). If you have a copy that happens to be missing this page, or if you just want the first page to the second ever Batman story, then this sale is for you!
