This is a highly detailed diary account of the WWI British Royal Navy dreadnought battleship H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth and her operations at the Dardanelles
during the Gallipoli Campaign of World War I. It covers the period January-May 1915 and gives great detail of the actions taken by Queen Elizabeth and her
support of Allied troops ashore. The book contains a good number of b&w photographs - many of which have probably never been seen before as the diary
was published and printed for private circulation to Officers and Men. I have included a number of the photographs in the listing.
Size of book : 8\" inches x 5\" inches.
50-pages.
Condition : blue linen-covered hard covers slightly warped ; some rubbing/wear to covers ; otherwise good.
Internally : original owner\'s name in ink inside front blank cover (W T Chappell AB, 49 Mess, H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth, Grand Fleet) ; a little
grubby inside front & rear blank covers ; some pages slight yellowing ; all pages intact ; no rips/tears ; binding intact ; book is fully complete.
All in all - a good-fair copy of this scarce hardback book and a wonderful detailed account of her Dardanelles Campaign.
