‘Just Hanging Out’ Ginger & White Tabby Cat ismy latest dollhouse miniature1:12 cat sculpture -- created by hand, using raw polymer clay with an embedded skeleton of delicate wire in the neck, legs and tail. Once thesoft clayhad been formed into a basic cat shape, it iscured in the oven.Next, Iusetools tocarve additional details into its hardened clay surface,inserttherealistic yellow-gold eyes, and apply an undercoat of acrylic paint.
Thisuniquely posedcat was made withfine gauge wire running insideits forelegs and extending out eachpaw to form a small \'hook\'. This wire hook allows the catto\'hang\' securely onto various miniature props. Lastly, Idressed it in a short, soft coat ofginger and white alpaca & French wool fibersstriped with permanent fabric inks, and \'spray sealed\' to set the fiber & color.Additional details include: tinypink paw pads, individually rootedwhiskers, and a wire-based tail that can be gently posed.
