We are exceptionally pleased to offer this late 19th century hand decorated Durgin sterling tea kettle on stand.
Retains the original burner.
Tapering form with rolling wave and center bead decorative borders. Hand carved leaf and floral sprays with interwoven sweeping vine. Detailed as real. Cover with leaf framed natural substance bud finial. Rolled vine swing handle retains original heat stops.
The bun foot stand with conforming rolling wave and bead. The original burner with butterfly mechanism cover to accurately control heat. The kettle sits perfectly atop shell cap rolling leaf and vine supports.
