E Howard No. 5 banjo clock @ 1885. Case dimensions are: 28 1/2\" tall x 12\" wide x 4 1/8\" deep. This a very nice restored clock ready to hang on the wall and enjoy. It came out of a collector\'s estate recently, where it was on the wall running. No extra holes anywhere on this good original piece. The cherry wood case is in very good solid condition having been refinished at some point in the past with some of the original rosewood graining remaining mostly on the sides. Reverse glasses are old and excellent, and look to be original, although the retaining strips have been changed, most likely when the case was refinished. Great label on the inside bottom and inside back of the case. 7 1/2\" diameter dial is an older decent repaint on the original plate. Original hands. Original winding crank key. Great original extra fancy damascened pendulum and unbroken wood stick. 8 day time only movement is stamped E Howard.
