All manuscripts and fragments came from the same colletion!
We have a superb provenance here, from the noble house of Christoff Earl of Vojkffy (1879-1970).
The Earl was a well known German archaeologist.
The collection contains also a letter of the Earl to the Palaeontolic Institute in Munich from the Year 1926 with the
request of further information about the manuscript collection.
I bought the entire manuscript collection of the Earl!

Here now the details:Description: Original manuscript vellum leaf fragment in Latin! 4 pages!Language: LatinMaterial: VellumDimensions: ca. 34,6 x 47,1 cm (double-leaf size) and ca. 34,4 x 24 (single-leaf size)

Dating: From the 12th century onward, smaller and slightly simplified variants of Gothic textura are known.
This wonderful Bifolium shows tiny letters, multiple abbreviations and somewhat simplified letter forms in
a interesting script of the early 13th. Century!Content: probably a historical work, Pope IV: are mentioned!Condition: Here and there worme-holes, otherwise still very good! The condition seen in the pictures!

Provenance: From the collection of Earl of Vojkffy. (Collection established before the year 1926!) Our manuscript bifolium here is ca. 800 Years old!!Good luck for this great sale!
