A very fine and early Brant Decoy carving by Steve Morey of Tuckerton, New Jersey.  Carved in the Cobb Island  style of Virginia and the Carolinas.  Completely original finish and paint that is antiqued for a fine patina.  Carved about 1980 and purchased directly from Mr. Morey as a special order.  It is approx 16 inches from the tip of the bill to the tipof the Tail, the bill is pegged into the head and is the original.  It is hollow carved and retains the original bottom pad weight and rigging ring.  It has Mr. Morey\'s carved \"M\" in the bottom.  A fine folk Art carving.
