(Revised) Rare vintage E.C.POWELL 9' 2/2 6-7 wt. My quess is a B taper comparing it to my comfirmed C taper Powell rod .A semi hollow built Trout rod. I believe this rod isunfished, you be the judge, but i have lawn cast it. All length's are arrow straight, and full lenght,ferrule's fit perfect, cork is spotless.Ferrule's do have the black dot witness marks, in pristeen condition.Reel seat show's no sign's of use, beautiful polish aluminumfinish.Rod weight on my kitchen scale very close to 5 o/z's even, with the butt section weighing a smidge over 4 o/z. Ferrule size is 16/64.Picture 5 show's some tiny white spot's on one tip section, looks like some thing was splashed on it, some of them wiped off with no effort, i'll leave the rest to you.Comes with original sock, in same condition of rod(very nice, with hole for hanging rod at the shop) Tube is a St. Croix brown canvas coved hard tube, that keep's it very safe. I honestly believe this is a True Time Capsule find.!Please ask any and all question's you might have.She's a real Beauty!!
