This is for a vintage, Princess Margaret pattern penknife by Ibberson and made by Ted Osborne of Sheffield. His apprentice was Stan Shaw, which is why the knife is typical of a Stan Shaw knife.
Hand milled liners, liner stamped EO 51Stainless steel. Fileworked back and blade.
Blade stamped IBBERSON MADE IN ENGLAND STAINLESS STEEL.
Blade is 1.75\", closed length is 2.5\"
Mother of pearl handles. One side is engraved with four letters, probably the initials of a name.
No cracks in the pearl. The blade snaps on closing but not on opening. It is tight however with no wobble.
