Up for sale is a really nice, Vintage Eico Model 666 Dynamic Conductance Tube/Transistor TesterPLUSa complete, new, reproduced User Manual + Tube Testing Data (60 pages total between the 666 User Manual and Tube Testing Data)ANDa good 6AK5 tube for reference testing (seen under test in photos).This is the Eico tester that tests many the rare 4, 5, 6 and 7 pin tubes. It\'s a real \"have to have\" feature for the Antique/Vintage Radio, Audio and Test Equipment enthusiast!! The Tester comes with lots of documentation! Documentation included is:

Lots of info!!Cosmetic Condition:This Eico 666 is in really nice shape which can be seen in the photos above. The exterior of the case does have some minor scrapes that would be expected from a 1950\'s era Tube Tester, but this one is pretty nice.The meter face is very nice with no cracks or breaks and all control knobs are present and undamaged. The tube Anode Clip extends nicely and then can be easily returned to its \"stored\" position. The cable on the Anode Clip is flexible and pliable. About the only thing missing is a grommet for the electrical cord hole, but that is very easily added.The only thing that has been added to the Tube Tester is a 7 and 9 Pin Straightener (seen in the photos above), but that can easily be removed if you want the 666 to be in all original condition.Finally, the roller for Tube Testing Data in the 666 is in great condition (see Photo # 5 above) and it rotates smoothly through the entire tube listings. There are no rips or tears in the Tube Data Roller paper.Functional Condition:The Eico 666 looks to be in great functional condition and has been used regularly for testing a variety of vacuum tubes. The photos above show the 666 meter in the \"Line Adjust\" mode with the meter needle mid-scale as it should be. There is plenty of adjustment left on the \"Line Adjust\" control, so you should have no problems adjusting the 666 to your test environment.The tester itself operates as it should. If you look at photos #5 & #6 above, you can see the tester settings for a 6AK5 tube (photo 5) and then the merit test itself for the 6AK5 (photo 6). The 6AK5 tube shown in the photo is included with this sale as well.
