Today for sale we have a vintage 1964 Ernst Heinrich Roth Antonious Stradivarius reproduction of the Cremona 1700 4/4 violin. This Ernst Heinrich Roth violin is in good used condition considering its age. Included in this sale is the Ernst Heinrich Roth violin, 2 bows (Sivori and a J. Keller) case, a bottle of peg drops, rosin (although it looks to be dried up but will be included anyways), new Wolf shoulder rest in package, and a cool vintage case. Overall the violin looks good with no major scratches, dents, or any damage that affects the function or sound of this violin. There are some little scratches on the right side of the violin on the top. We took some pictures with a quarter to give some perspective. The tuning pegs are in good shape and turn with ease. The bridge is in good shape, but will be removed during shipping to protect the violin. So expect that if you are the winner of this sale you will need to have a setup done for your personal preferences. The neck has good action and no cracks in it. The bows are in good condition with no cracks, although some hair have broke on each.
This violin has a very warm and rich sound when played by someone who know what they are doing. This violin was made in West Germany in 1964. It has a lot of character and charm. The Sivori and J. Keller bows are in good shape with no cracking in the wood. There are some signs of use on them though with a small amount of the hairs being broken. The case is vintage and has a very cool faux aligator skin on it. The case does have some scratches and sings of wear on it. The strap to hold the bows has been broken too.
This is a great chance to get a great deal on a high quality Ernst Heinrich Roth violin. These violin are sought after for their high quality and great sound. And this violin delivers on both.
