On offer is this beautiful old Sevres style hand painted lamp with bronze ormolu mounts. Detailed and beautiful hunt scene runs around the entire font of the lamp base and features a lovely French lady and gent on horseback with their hounds in tow toward the back of the lamp you see sky, mountains in the back and hounds chasing a stag. Absolutely gorgeous and the most detailed painting we\'ve seen on a piece like this. The hunt scene is set off on top by ormolu mounts and atop is a Paris blue section with floral lozenges and this motif is carried on on the bottom of the lamp. Lamp is very large standing about 27\" inches (excluding a harp) and about 8\" inches wide with a 10\" inches base. Newer rewire with sympathetic gold cloth covered twisted wire and black hexagonal plug.No signature visible to us. Ready to be unwrapped, displayed and enjoyed.
