A very rare and historical piece of George III Bateman silver .This salver was made by the Brothers, Peter and Jonathan who were only making silver together for a few months in this particular year.Of circular form with Bead edge and with foliate , acanthus and Bird design to the surface around a crested and initialled centre.With presentation inscription to the reverse.The decoration around the centre will have been done at a later date from the original consctruction of the salver.Without repair and with only light surface wear and markings .
