ROSS QUARTER PLATE

circa 1875

Victorian era wet / dry plate extremely rare mahoganycamera in excellent condition.
Very high quality mahogany, connected to the pins, the original French varnish.
Leather red (burgandy)bellows in excellent condition.
Mahogany looks like a Spanish and has a beautiful grain in the panels.
Complete, with notches for septum,one original plate holderand beautiful wooden box.

The camera has an ivorine plaque which reads:

Dimensionwith extended bellows: 44 cm x 21 cm x 19 cm.

Used, with beautiful patina of age, complete, working and ... very beautiful !
