Description Awonderful rare genuine English antique solid sterling silver novelty snuff/pill box in the form of a hatching chick by the silversmiths Sampson Mordan & Co and with English silver hallmarks for Chester1906.Superb quality genuine 108 year old sterling silverexample, inexcellent condition,very nicely detailed anddepicting a chick emerging from its shell. Has a hinged silver lid and inside it is still fully gilded.No added personal engraved inscriptions ormonograms.
