Up for sale with is a fabulous late 19th Century Indian Sterling Silver Tea Set. The Tea Set just exudes quality and I love the diminutive size, which I believe is referred to as a Bachelor\'s Set and is quite Rare. The Service features the most incredible Hand Chased Persian or Indian designs that literally cover the entire surface of each piece. The Service also features amazing Figural Peacock designs to the tops of the legs and a great Bird form Spout on the Teapot. I absolutely adore the little Cream Jug with it\'s hinged lid, there is no evidence the Sugar Bowl ever had one as I am sure it would have been hinged as well if it had. The Service is in superb condition for the age with only the Sugar Bowl showing one small dent which is barely noticeable and no other damage. The Set has also amazingly never been monogrammed. The Service displays beautifully with the Teapot measuring4-1/2 inches tall by6-3/4 inches long and holding2 cups, the Cream Jug standing3-3/4 inches tall at the Spout and the Sugar Bowl measuring4-3/4 inches wide across the handles. The Service is unmarked as most Indian Silver of this age never was but has been tested and is guaranteed to be 925 Sterling Silver with a quality combined weight of731 grams. If you collect Middle Eastern Silver you are sure to love this set and I doubt you will find another Bachelor\'s size set like this up for sale again any time soon, especially selling without reserve !
