This tractor had no problems when it was parked about 15 years ago. The hydraulics were working and not leaking. This Farmall M was last used to lift big rolls of hay and place them on a flat bed trailer for my father\'s cows, so the fork is still mounted on the rear of the tractor and the weights are on the front. I don\'t know if the tires are flat or just mired down in the mud, but if it is to roll on it\'s own tires, the buyer may wish to bring an air pump, along with other tools and fluids to get it started. My son, who may have been the last person to drive it, said he thinks it has no problems other than age and just sitting. Of course the battery is dead and it will need oil and fuel, etc., but it did run until is was parked.
The smoke stack is laying on top of the tractor, but it is in poor condition. There is also a large tire & wheel leaning against a nearby tree, and it may go with this tractor. Please don\'t take it if it fits the smaller Super C Farmall that is also for sale on right now. There may be some spare parts to this tractor, including what appears to be an old fashioned seat in the bushes to the right of the driveway that the buyer is welcome to take or leave. I believe my father told me that those parts go to this Farmall H, but I cannot promise. There are other miscellaneous items around the large yard that should NOT be taken; only the Farmall H parts to the right of the driveway that will probably work with this tractor, may go. There is poison ivy and mosquitoes in the area, so the buyer or his/her representative should wear appropriate clothing and bring appropriate repellents when picking up the Farmall M.The seller will provide the buyer the name and number of her local representative, and pickup arrangements must be made in advance because cell phones generally do not work around the area where the tractor is located.
