This unusual Russian small size cream or milk jug stands 65mm (2.5\'\') to the top of the handle x 80mm (3.25\'\') handle to spout and weighs 51 grams. It is fully hallmarked to the base for Imperial Russian solid silver with the maker HA the date 1840 and the purity and town mark. It is an unusual fluted design with an applied boarder around the rim and a carved handle and is in good antique condition with signs of use, a small tight hairline to the base of the handle and no repairs. A fine quality early Russian silver jug in good honest displayable or usable condition.
