It measures 9 1/2\" across.Beautiful Basket. Please see pictures. One piece is broken on braided rim and a few near base of basket are cracked but it still a stunning piece of mid-Century Basketry.
I will keep the inventory tag on it but I don\'t know what the note refers to.

This came from a collector\'s estate and it was sold to benefit the acquisition fund of a museum. I will provide the collector\'s name, a doctor from Arvesto, CA, to winning buyer. I did not get the information of which museum it benefited. I will only send priority on this basket to make sure it arrives safely and in good condition. ;
OurNative American and First Nation items have been collected from variousplaces--sales, estate sales, pow wows and craft stores from our travels. Many of our Quill Boxes come from Manitoulin Island, where we spend part of each summer. We hate to let some of these items go but with our children in college, it\'s time to liquidate some of the collection and share our items with others.
