Up for sale with is a fine Victorian period Silver Plate spoon warmer in a great Nautilus Seashell form. This is a very high quality piece showingthe Maker\'s mark for the very fine SilversmithJ. Cockburn. TheSpoon Warmerfeatures amazing Bright Cut designs throughout.The spoon warmer is in good all original condition with some signs of wear consistent with age and polishing but no cracks or repairs and it has never been monogrammed which is a nice find. This beauty measures approx. 6\" high x 6-3/4\" long x 3-3/4\" across widest portion and is a rare addition to any collection. If you are unfamiliar with Spoon Warmers, they were made for more wealthy people to keep their spoons warm in the drafty Victorian houses, a nice warm spoon at the breakfast table was a high comfort. They are now highly collectible and this is a very fine example from a fineestate collection.
