ATTENTION - The listed SHIPPING for the clock $151 seems way off - this is a problem with listing items and letting the computer determine the cost. Shipping with insurance should not be more than $89.00. Give me your location and I will give you an accurrate cost. I can credit overage of shipping in the invoice - so don\'t worry. So SORRY! I can check shipping to South American and Canada too!

A buyer asked what was the cut out rectangular spot on the back for??? That is the location of the wood in the decorative framed lower middle - there are no working parts there simply a veneer like adornment of a differing wood. I have seen this on a few others with rare or attractive wood accents. Maybe the original wood was repaired or replaced - no working mechanism is there - just wood and the cut matches the out line of the little frame you see - an odd trait.
Also, I noticed that the top has two holes for a crown - so now I am guessing the current crown is not orignal as I had thought - sorry. The clock repairman is dead so these details are guess work.
FYI - I did put the weights on it yesterday and it does chime first with the quarter hour one sound - then with the full hour a differnet sound as it is suppose to - for a blind man.
LAST I went to ship the last clock I sold and USPS wanted $150 for the size (it was big - I doubled boxed and insured for $350). So shipping could be $100 to $150 with insurance. You can call me for additional information or images that I will message text to you. Jason [phone removed by ]
