Here\'s an attractive Gibson U-3 soprano uke, made around 1929; the amount of finish wear on the back of the neck, up to the 7th fret or so, is a testament to the musical expertise and enthusiasm of the original owner of this uke. Finish has been stripped off the top of the uke and there may be a repaired hair-line crack from bridge to end of the top...or it may be just a scratch. The back and sides retain the well-worn original finish and the back has a couple of repaired cracks. The only issue that could use some attention is the back brace just inside the sound-hole, which has an un-repaired split. Original Grover tuning pegs. Strung-up and almost ready for another 80 years.
Nice \'50\'s era chip-board case is included.
