Turkish and Persian coffee wares from Gorham are highly sought.

Classic inset waist bead center swirl fluted bottle form.

The lower body with all over hand carved floral spray on satin.

Rolling wave decorative border to neck. Melon fluted pavilion cover with leaf frame bud finial.

Boldly cast and hand chased shell and vine handle, original heat stops. Split vine and shell terminal.

Never monogrammed.

This rare 1892 Gorham sterling silver Turkish coffee pot is 9 1/4 inches and 19 1/2 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. The beautifully carved shell and floral retain their original detail. Stands firm on table or museum display shelf.
