This is for a lovely top quality art deco silver and enamel pocket watch from 1931. The case is covered on both sides in a lovely vivid blue guilloche enamel with an intricate pattern underneath. The case is designed so thewatch is hinged and folds out to stand up inside.Inside the silvercarries a full set of English sterling silverhallmarksdating it to Birmingham 1931 along with the silversmiths initials S.S.M in a diamond. The silver also has a jewellers number 1502, a \'Patent\' and inside the watch is marked \'Swiss Made, 15 Jewel\'. The watch is running fine and the case is inabsolute excellent condition, the enamel is shiny smooth with no chips or cracks and there are no dents to the silver.It has a niceheavy weight and looks and feels like the good quality piece it is. There is an inscription inside that somone has tried to cover at some time, but thats all, itis in really nice crisp clean condition.It measures 38mm (1.5\") square when closed.
