This book is in acceptable condition. Some looseness on boards at spine, but structure good. Scuffing, some scratches, rubbing fading on cover. Slight nicks on spine. Pages and illustrations are free of markings but have foxing and some spotting throughout (see photos).
on the front cover. 412 pp. A collected edition of the works of Edgar Allan Poe, with style black and white as ll as color illustrated plates (tipped in). All illustrations called for in the table of contents are present. FAIR/GOOD condition. Moderate to heavy fading to the cloth, with a few small areas of mottling, mostly to the rear. Minor soiling and staining. Smudges of paint (with a few thicker portions) present along the rear cover hinge. Cloth frayed, worn and scuffed at the corners and spine tips. Two inch split in the cloth along the lower front hinge. Both hinges cracked along the interior hinges (at the endpapers) with the covers a bit loose but still intact. Ownership signature present. Text block a bit toned. Fore edge soiled.
