Heavy Victorian period solid sterling silver tray with floral repousse decorated rim & further flower head engraved decoration to the surface.The hallmarks are very rubbed but i think it is hallmarked with a W for Sheffield 1889, the makers mark is also very rubbed but when caught at the correct angle it looks like HH for Henry Harrison of Norfolk Street Sheffield, a recognized makers of trays & salvers.Excellent age related condition with only a few age related surface marks of little importance, truly beautiful period circular tray of heavy weight & good size.Size: 12 1/4 inches (31.5cm) diameter.Weighs: 762 grams.
