Hermle Astrolabium celestial time quartz excellent condition. this clock was issued by the Franklin mint back in 2000. All orbiting bodies move in real time, perfectly synchronized with clock\'s skeleton quartz movement, 24 solid-brass gears, and differential, all which provide precise timekeeping. Designed by Richard Hermle of the famous German clock-making family, it is an exacting reproduction of the beautiful 18th-century \"heaven machine\" built by the famous clockmaker Philipp Matthaus Hahn (1739-1790). Known to antiquity as a \"tellurium,\". The clock displays the hour, minutes, days of the week, moon phase as well as the month within the year. The top part of the clock shows the moon, sun and the earth which are all activated through out the year showing the positions of moon to earth, rotation of the earth around the sun. All of the globes are in proper size as to one another.
