This is a nice Hickok model 533A Tube Tester. I\'ve been using this tester for years to test older 4 and 5 pin tubes and it works fine - the push buttons could probably use a bit of deoxit cleaning though. Photo shows it testing a 12BY7 tube. I\'m only selling it because I recently acquired a 539B and this one is now excess to my needs.When I got this tester the black vinyl covering was in really bad shape and the bottom of the case had water damage as well. I stripped the vinyl off, sanded, stained, and varnished the wood so now it looks quite presentable.This sale includes thetube tester, a supplementary tube list,and a printed copy of the operating manual.
